About the position

The Account Manager role will be pivotal in ensuring that our clients are satisfied. This should be someone experienced in digital marketing, particularly Facebook. The AM manages client relationships after the sales process. The ideal AM becomes an advocate for the clients internally and their trusted advisor who helps them achieve critical business goals.

The role reports to the COO and is responsible for achieving the following key results:

• Manage client relationships – be the main POC between clients and Ready Set

• Onboard clients post sales

• Understand and articulate the client’s key objectives

• Provide strategic guidance and identify opportunities to add value to client

• Ensure client satisfaction by working with teammates – Creative Directors, Project Coordinators, Editors and Accounting

• Present campaign performance results to client

• Handle renewals and opportunities to expand services provided

• Provide internal feedback to improve processes and services based on insights gained from client interactions.

• Track client health metrics

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated passion for helping clients succeed

• 3 years of account management experience

• Knowledge of digital performance advertising best practices and trends

• Experience analyzing digital marketing campaign performance

• Experience working on remote teams

• BONUS: Experience with project management tools – Asana, Monday, Trello, JIRA, etc.

Business Development Manager – Remote

This role is remote! You can do it from anywhere – you don’t have to be in Canada.

The Business Development Manager role at Ready Set is a key one. You’ll be mostly focused on closing inbound leads that come in through our site, ReadySet.co. These are not $99/mo deals but rather enterprise deals ranging into the six-figures. Experience at that price point not required but definitely preferred! In addition to handling those inbound meetings, you’ll be focused mainly on 1) some outbound and 2) some event planning (dinners, small get togethers) for key leads like the CMOs at top companies in the US and Canada.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules meetings with all inbound leads to Ready Set in order to qualify and close them. CEO is available to help with larger ones.
  • Develops a strong pitch deck that is customized to each potential client. We already have one you can work off of.
  • Craft custom, personalized outbound emails to high-profile leads.
  • Uses Hubspot to organize contacts and deals, moving them through the stages as warranted.
  • Helps plan small marketing/lead gen events like dinners with high-profile leads in various cities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-10 years experience in sales or business development, ideally in the performance marketing space i.e. Facebook advertising etc., but not required
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs, Slack, ideally Hubspot and other modern tools
  • Great references who can speak to your go-to-it-ness
  • Proactive – we are here to support you but entreprenurial scrappy up-and-comers are ideal!
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of clients and colleagues
  • After hours work required – looking for hustlers!

The Opportunity at Ready Set

We are looking for an exceptional, contrarian Creative Director to join us in our mission to become the world’s biggest library of live-action video ads.

What You’ll Do: Oversee all creative development for our fast-growing roster of international clients. You’ll:

  • Work with clients to understand their brand and develop a series of strategic approaches to the work.
  • Develop tons of short, creative scripts to shoot for clients.
  • Be the director on set as we shoot the ads, as often as monthly (LA + potentially Toronto)
  • Oversee the creative through post-production, using Vimeo Review.
  • Get to know our clients, iterating each quarter to zero in on what’s working best.

What You Bring:

  • Enthusiasm, scrappiness and a love for moving fast. You’re a prolific creative, capable of coming up with a lot of ideas and working a lot of different spots in post. This is the opposite of noodling on 1-3 ads for 3 months.
  • Empathy, especially for our clients and their business.
