Ready Set was started by ex-Airbnb execs; we are 75 people who shoot + produce Facebook video ads for large clients like Smile Direct Club and DoorDash. We are growing at over 300% year-over-year. About the position

This role is fully remote! Week to week you are scripting and putting together full ads for Facebook and Instagram. You work with our editors but don’t do the editing yourself. Don’t worry if you don’t have experience with Facebook ads or advertising in general – we can help! Our team is awesome and comes from places like Chiat Day, VICE, Peloton and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching and analyzing research and creative questionnaires from our clients to understand their company, product and customer.
  • Writing conversion-focused direct response copy and building ads for our clients, mostly direct-to-consumer brands and apps like Smile Direct Club, MeUndies, DoorDash and more.
  • Coming up with hypotheses of what we’d like to learn and executing creative based on that
  • Taking in data from our Head of Performance and incorporating into future spots.

About the position

The Project Manager’s job is to support our Head of Project Management with production operations. The role is flexible: you might be coordinating a post-production workflow one week and working to help arrange product shipments another. We are producing a ton of video ads every week and there is a lot to do! You’ll also provide strategic advice to our Head of Project Management on how we can lead and develop best practices around our workflows and systems. Most of all you’ll be part of an awesome team of people working to change the world of marketing!

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be supporting our Head of Project Management, who is based in Hawaii. In addition to working together during overlapping hours, you may be working on your own other parts of the day.
  • All written and oral communication at Ready Set is in English, though communicating in Spanish locally with Argentina teams is welcome of course.
  • General Project Management duties like ensuring that client briefs are circulated, production and products are happening the way they need to and more. This is more a project management role than a video production role so it’s OK if you don’t
    have much experience in the latter (though it’s preferred!)

  • Various other Project Management responsibilities as they pop up.

About the position

The Logistics and Operations Manager’s job is to lead all Supply Chain functions globally. Every week, we are shipping a broad range of goods Domestically and Internationally. These range from client products going to our User Generated Content (UGC) talent in North America (US/CA), to our film set + warehouse in Los Angeles (where this role is based,) and potentially film sets abroad. Tactical and strategic leadership is required here, as we want you to help us develop the ideal systems and best practices to support our rapidly growing business. We are looking for a candidate who is reliable and eager to help Ready Set grow our operational excellence for years to come.

Responsibilities:

 

● Review product assortment and work with Freight Forwarders to establish shipping rates / shipping contracts (ex. UPS, FedEx – Range of service Express, Ground, LTL)

● Manage all shipping requests, ensuring timely, reliable delivery at good prices

● Manage spend ($’s) on customer direct product purchases + shipping – Report out weekly spend vs target

● Manage and track all inventory within network – Communicate product availablility to Project Managers to ensure timely delivery to support Ad production

● Develop warehouse operations within Los Angeles Studio space and execute inventory management/shipping responsibilities out of this location

The Quality Control Manager’s main job is to ensure that all ads delivered to our clients comply with any stated brand guidelines and client requests. They will collect and update client dos and don’ts (anything that the client has expressly stated they want or do not want in their ads, including brand guideline direction). They will review all scripts and all ads developed to identify any potential conflicts with the Dos and Dont’s.

The Account Manager role will be pivotal in ensuring that our clients are satisfied. This should be someone experienced in digital marketing, particularly Facebook. The AM manages client relationships after the sales process. The ideal AM becomes an advocate for the clients internally and their trusted advisor who helps them achieve critical business goals.

Business Development Manager – Remote

This role is remote! You can do it from anywhere – you don’t have to be in Canada.

The Business Development Manager role at Ready Set is a key one. You’ll be mostly focused on closing inbound leads that come in through our site, ReadySet.co. These are not $99/mo deals but rather enterprise deals ranging into the six-figures. Experience at that price point not required but definitely preferred! In addition to handling those inbound meetings, you’ll be focused mainly on 1) some outbound and 2) some event planning (dinners, small get togethers) for key leads like the CMOs at top companies in the US and Canada.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules meetings with all inbound leads to Ready Set in order to qualify and close them. CEO is available to help with larger ones.
  • Develops a strong pitch deck that is customized to each potential client. We already have one you can work off of.
  • Craft custom, personalized outbound emails to high-profile leads.
  • Uses Hubspot to organize contacts and deals, moving them through the stages as warranted.
  • Helps plan small marketing/lead gen events like dinners with high-profile leads in various cities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-10 years experience in sales or business development, ideally in the performance marketing space i.e. Facebook advertising etc., but not required
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs, Slack, ideally Hubspot and other modern tools
  • Great references who can speak to your go-to-it-ness
  • Proactive – we are here to support you but entreprenurial scrappy up-and-comers are ideal!
